I’m Kendra Heer, an illustrator and recent graduate student from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. I’ve lived my entire life in Vancouver, BC, surrounded by an array of art, nature and skyscrapers. My art is very much inspired by childhood memories, the whimsical and imaginative. I love anything fantasy: dragons, fairies, witches, and monsters. Whether its exploring the quiet moments— like cooking with family, or exciting scenes of adventures and fantasy, I’d love to work on any project where I can create something special.

In 2023 I graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a BFA in Illustration. I am especially interested children’s book illustration, editorial illustration, and other projects as well.
